I did not ever have one. I think I missed out on something! In fact I have created another deprived generation- My children did not have them. They are so cute!
I started a new project with some fun flannel I found. A friend is having a little boy soon, really soon...I think my boy would have loved theses as much as I do-I hope Malichai will.
I used Amy Butler's Kimono pattern. I really liked it and found the pattern very easy to understand and assemble.
I did add binding to all the edges not just the front facing. I also think that next time I might modify the pattern a bit and increase the width of the sleeve at the wrist, it was very narrow.
I just found out that I am going to be able to work part time at my job for the next couple of months and then go back to full time in January. I am sew excited! I just have purchased about 18 yds of garment fabric at a couple of killer sales so, may the good times begin!
